I would have to say it could be stress yet it could also mean that your neck or back is out. My neck was out and for three days I was sure I was going to die the pain was so bad. I went to a chiropractor and my oh my my headache left as quick as it came once I was adjusted. Good luck.

My first assumption would be a headache related to tension, or a headache due to eyestrain.

Headaches can be caused by stress, either mentally or physically, so your muscles can tense up if you keep your head/neck/shoulders in the same or similar positions for too long.

Also, too much eyestrain, or a problem with your eyes may be the case, which is another reason why the pain would disappear at night. If you are resting your eyes they are not straining to focus.

It could also be sinus problems based on the time of year, but they rarely go away just from laying down, and they can be felt from mid-nose to the top of your head.

My suggestions would be to schedule an eye appointment, and try some shoulder and neck exercises to keep your muscles moving. Changing the lighting where you spend most of your time can also help.

Headaches always go away with sleep. But if you are constantly having headaches, I suggest you get an MRI in case.

Stress!!!!!!!!!! It might help to talk to a doctor about it. Meds can take care of you OR if you don't like that you can do stress reduction things. If you don't have $ or a doctor go to a book store & look in the selfhelp section. Good luck.
