They are treated better in our country than they are in their own! Why do you think they risk all to get here? Even living on min wage and under, they still come out better than living in the third world conditions they are used to. Free health care, free social services to their children like WIC, food stamps, section 8 housing, free education! All at our expense! We have been a good Samaritan too long! What would God think? Just because they are poor does not give them the right to break the law and steal! The Bible says, "Thou shall not steal", remember? We cannot continue to support these people at the expense of our own people! They are here intentionally breeding to make more babies that are a burden to the system. Even though we want to save the world we will not be able to. God wants us to leave that to Him.He did not say to reward people for stealing. They are taking money from taxpayers that they are not entitled to. They are stealing from our children who will not enjoy the quality of education that we grew up with because of the burden of having to educate children that were thrown upon the system and the taxpayer! Take care of our own people first, and if there is anything that we can do after the borders are closed to help the people in these countries with corrupt governments then we should. But we cannot let them into our country to wave flags and demand rights that they do not have under our constitution! They must go back home! Our system will not support any more illegals! They are lawbreakers not decent immigrants who show respect for our country! There is a difference when someone wants to come and make a contribution and abide by the laws of this land from the person who thumbs his nose at our laws and our country and yet wants our social service system to support his children!
As far as I am concerned, we are under no moral law from God to support people who spit on our great country founded on Judeo/Christian beliefs. Who show disrespect by waving the flag of their country here and who refuse to speak English! Illegals, GO HOME!

He would want the laws of that land obeyed. Illegal aliens are not exempt from having to follow the same set of rules or what's right, what's wrong. This I wanted a better life does not excuse anyone from their obligations. Illegals are doing wrong. Would you also recommend we forgive everyone locked up and turn them free with the promise they want be naughty but will now be good

Well, God would have compassion on illegals.....Remember, Jesus came for the sinners, prostitutes, lepers, tax collectors, women, children, Samaritans, the list goes on and on.....He told us to have mercy and compassion for these type of people.....The beatitudes are another example....
1 And seeing the multitudes, he went up into the mountain: and when he had sat down, his disciples came unto him: 2 and he opened his mouth and taught them, saying,
3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
6 Blessed are they that hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called sons of God.
10 Blessed are they that have been persecuted for righteousness sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11 Blessed are ye when men shall reproach you, and persecute you, and say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets that were before you.'
(Mt.5.1-12)
Would you consider illegals the lepers of our day? I certainly do.....They are looked at like they are diseased.....I don't mean in the literal sense, but the spiritual sense.....

Well let me think of that...When Jesus was born his family flew to Egypt (country other than his own) I am not sure how well he was treated there, but i think God would be grateful if Americans treated immigrants just as he would have liked Egyptians treated Jesus his son.

I don't think forgiving people for doing illegal things is appropriate in any season. If that's the case, we would be making exceptions for many things. Also, do we forgive them at Christmas and not at other times?

He would think we treat them pretty good. Give them jobs, places to live, food to eat, free health care, rights. Not too bad treatment for Illegals. Mexico doesn't treat their own citizens that well.
God knows they are breaking the law, but he also knows they need to survive.

Rom 13:1 (NIV) Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.
"Let all things be done decently and in order" (1st Corinthians 14:40).
Matthew 22:21 "Render unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's."
Exodus 12:49- "The same law applies to the native-born and to the alien living among you."
Isaiah 62:6- "I have posted watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night.
You who call on the LORD, give yourselves no rest." In Biblical times, the watchmen would refer to those who watched over the border of Israel, to protect it's citizens from invasion."
Isaiah 58:3
'Why have we fasted,' they say, 'and you have not seen it?
Why have we humbled ourselves, and you have not noticed?'
"Yet on the day of your fasting, you do as you please and exploit all your workers."
Exodus 22:21
"Do not mistreat an alien or oppress him, for you were aliens in Egypt.
Exodus 20:10
"but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the LORD your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your manservant or maidservant, nor your animals, nor the alien within your gates"
Leviticus 17:8
"Say to them: 'Any Israelite or any alien living among them who
offers a burnt offering or sacrifice."
These last two I put in because aliens to the land of Israel were required to follow the laws of Israel, and that included the laws of God. In short, they were required to "assimilate."
The Bible tells us that we are not to exploit people, and we are to treat them kindly- but they in turn, must follow and respect the laws of the land in which they come, and this means coming LEGALLY.

As Stephanie said here, "Treat others as you would want to be treated." The illegals should be following this instruction, but do you think they are when they are coming into our country illegally and basically stealing from us? "Thou shalt not steal" is one of the 10 commandments. Aren't most Mexicans Catholics? (Not that I am saying ALL illegal immigrants are Mexican - just most of them in the USA are.)

Since most Illegal Mexicans are catholic, the Catholics would say. " Go to the U.s. and make that nation catholic instead of protestant, so that the Vatican would de in a higher position of authority.
Study European history.

If you read your Bible, God wants us to take care of the poor and needy, but he also says to " render unto Caesar what is Caesars, and render unto God what is Gods."
Man has laws and if the laws are broken, then you render to Caesar your body in jail, or what ever to include, execution, to pay for that crime.
Illegal immigrants are just that, illegal. they should either be sent back to where they came from, or, do whats right and apply for citizenship.
If you went to another country in say, Europe, what do you think they would do if they found you were there illegally???
The world wants to point fingers and name call America, but they are just as guilty about immigration in their country.
