what would be the best way for a guy to ask a girls parents if they could be able to date?

What a gentleman. You don't see that much nowadays. I applaud you for your efforts.
Well, hopefully they already know of you. You probably want her to be there so she could help sway them in your favour because then they would see that she wants to date you as well. They might ask some questions about your extra curriculars and grades and the infamous 'what's your intentions' Be prepared. Be honest. Be sincere. Be respectful. Be polite, that's a big one.
I'm guessing I'd ask them wherever you seem them most and are most comfortable with them. Perhaps her house, maybe in the car while they are driving the two of you. Make sure they are in a good mood and have a smile when you meet them. Offer a hand shake to her father.

depends on how old you and the girl are really and how the parents are. Out of all the girls I have gone out with it was there choice not there parnets. Reputation has alot to do with it if you have to ask parents to go out with htere duaghter you need to do somehting to show them that she is a positive asset to your life

I would say just be up front and honest about it.
it shows her parents that you are trustworthy and honest.
and it gets it out of the way.

i think you should say
"mr and mrs._______ i really like your daughter ______ and i was wondering if it was okay if her and i went on a date this friday night"
