The odds are pretty good that her second litter will be as large. I know I raised and bred pit bulls for years (before they became illegal in my state) the biggest litter my female ever had was 10. I wouldn't allow her to have anymore after this one though. Good luck.

Hi there. The chances of her having a large litter once again are quite high. 12 is a pretty large litter though. Most breeders I talk to are of the opinion that as dogs have more litters, they will have more pups in each litter. I've actually found that to be true of my yorkies, but they're tiny, so it's a whole different ballgame really. I mean, 5 pups in a yorkie litter is considered to be a pretty big litter!
I don't know if the same actually applies for big dogs like labs but I would say it's very likely she'll have another large one.
Puppies are the most adorable special thing (I don't have children yet!) - they have that beautiful puppy smell and puppy breath and you just want to hold them all the time but you can't cause you freak out mommy... I love puppies!! You're lucky to be having more in the house. Good luck with them all!! Let us know how many come out!! :)

I'd say pretty good. Litters tend to get larger the more a dog breeds, so you very well may have 12 or 13.

large breed dogs usually have large litters. good luck and you must have a lot of free time if the idea of 12 puppies doesn't scare the crap out of you.lol

Since you apparently haven't been paying attention, pretty good. The more pup's a dog has the better the odds of abnormal or deformed pup's.

Very good possiblilty that she will have 12 again! I usually find that mine are consistent with the numbers they throw!
