I like this boy w/ a locker next to mine, and he started talking 2 me at the beginning of the year. When we talked, he would smile, try to make me laugh, his eyes would get bigger, he would usually start the conversation, and he would say 'see ya' b4 he left. After a while he stopped talking, and I wrote him a note asking if he was mad at me, and he just said 'hey' to me at our lockers the next day. We haven't really talked too much after that, but we did make eye contact as I passed him today. P.S. We don't have any classes together and are both 'new kids'.
What's going on, and how can I get him talking?

It's obvious this boy has other things going on in his life, don't take it personally, just get on with meeting new people and be confident, why don't you make the first move and say hello when you see him next but don't be over enthusiastic, just go with the flow and enjoy getting to know people

That is almost like whats happening to me now. I like this guy since last year and since hes in a new room and crap he wont talk to me anymore. And hes the one that got me interested in him in the first place! LOL. But it might be that hes just getting a little shy or something. Since you say that he started talking to you and making you laugh then maybe its becuz deep down he really likes you and was trying to get you interested in him. And now maybe he wants to ask you out or somethin.

i hope ur a girl and asking this.
If you are a girl:
He maybe wanted to reach the next level, but thought that you were not as interested as he was and just gave up and/or he found a girl friend and doesn't need to look anymore.
If you are a guy:
Maybe he found out that you are gay and it is YOU that wants to reach the next level. lol....

Well you could .. ask him if you would like to buy lunch for him or try talking to him more often or ask if you would want to hang out at lunch :)

he feels uncomfortable because he feels there is nothing to talk about so if u want him to talk to u, u have to start the conversation.
