we talk a lot on IM but in school(8th grade) we dont talk much... she is really cute/hot and i am not that great... but we r both great at sports and stuff and we have a lot in common... i dont wanna be just friends but i dont want to rush it either... advice on what i shud do?? or how to find out if she likes me 2??

we talk alot on IM and i have alredy told her that i liked her and she didnt react at all... she just acted like nuthin happened... but she had known for a while anyways... i think she thinks i'm a decent guy and all but idk how she feels about me... we have stuff in common and all but we dont talk that much in school... and she is really hot/cute and she is sweet too she is great allaround... i am not really that great but i think i mite try to change to maybe impress her more?? any advice on what to do wud be great

It is a good sign that this girls likes to IM w/ you. If she didn't enjoy you and your thoughts she would not do that. You did not say what grade she is in, so I'll assume she's the same age because you see her in school. It is not uncommon for girls & guys to sort of pass like ships in the night at school. There's so much going on - from classes and activities to all that good (and rotten) social stuff. I can honestly tell you that being friends is a great start...even if it is just on IM. If you like her just keep being that friend. The very best relationships start that way, for sure. Don't try to make things happen. If you have the opportunity at school, again, be a good friend. Ask how her game was or if her homework load is as heavy as yours....and don't get hung up on your looks........you are a work in progress and not the final product....being a great friend at heart will go along with this girl - and others....patience, my friend :)

It's really nice to read about this, I'm old school but it's really effective I had girlfriends in the 8th grade and I wasn't all that, but all you have to do is that remember always that " honesty is always the best policy". You say you have a lot in common with her so you can do things that you both like, treat her to some ice cream, a G-rated movie, you all can go bowling together, buy a small bouquet of flowers, but all the time while you are out with her, tell her how you feel, she'll never know unless you tell her.
communication is very important, I'm willing to bet that that if you tell her how you feel, she'll tell you.

I have the same problem. Somehow, she got my sn though. If you're really confident, i suggest you talk to her. If you're like me... well sorry i dont really know because the girl i like started talking to me. I can tell if you talk alot on IM, she's gonna probably start talking to you. I suggest you just be friends. It'll be a lot better, worth the wait. Plus, you'll get to know her better. If you're just friends, she'll talk more with you. Then you can see how she reacts around you and you'll tell if she likes you or not.

you should just start really showing her that you like her and if she shows it back than you know she likes you.trust me im a girl.and you should'nt pop the question that fast.
