I have a mixed breed of dog, and I give her a bath in my bathroom tub any time she stinks. When she gets out, she shakes, and starts going crazy! she runs out of the bathroom, into my bedroom, out again, down the hall, through my living room, down the hall, back into my bedroom, and will repeat this until I turn my heater on and she can sit at the vent. I think it is sillly and funny and I don't mind it but i want to know if anyone elses dogs do that.

thanks!

Hi! This is completely normal! Bathing feels good and most dogs do this! More so smaller dogs, but bigger ones will to! We had a Malamute dog who did this as well, and he was big! My lop-eared bunny runs around and jumps up really high! he goes crazy while the kids and I all laugh at him! He turns into kung-foo bunny with all his running and jumping! ENJOY your normal furry friend! :o) ( try not to get water in the ears though!)

This is completely normal. My parents dog does the exact same thing. My childhood dog used to do it too.Don't worry about. He is just happy he is done with the bath. You can try a hair dryer. I have to do that with my other animals. Just remember that you need to keep the heat away from them or put it on cool . Dogs skin drys out easily.

I've seen many dogs act that way. But if she is rubbing her ears on the floor you may be getting water in them. which is not good because she could get an ear infection. And try to get her as dry as possible. Maybe she will let you use a hair dryer on her.

My dog does this. He goes absolutely crazy when he's done with a bath (and the HATES baths). I just assumed he was so incredibly happy to be away from the evil water faucet, that he was frolicking with joy or something.

lol my dog does not go that far probably because i lock the bathroom door when we are in there but he pretty much runs around and does similar when i open the door before drying him off.....he tries to rub his body on anything soft like clothes or bedding to try to get himself dry but it is normal :)

Ours used to go crazy until we turned the hair dryer on. Then she'd sit still so we could dry her off.

Mine does the same thing. It is normal she is just trying to dry herself off with out the use of a blow dryer or towel.
