Hmmmm, hi guys! Last week, probably around wednesday I swallowed some gum accidentaly (due to laughter!). Ever since, I have felt it - it's stuck to my throat! I have tried to eat whole bits of food instead of chewing in hope that it will go but to no avail! Anyone know what I could do? It's not causing me much problem but feels uncomfortable when I swallow.

Thanks,
J.

Ouch, that's gotta suck. Try drinking a lot of water. If the gum is really like "stuck" to your throat (which I think is because you ate food and it's there), then try coughing it out, or like go to the doctors? They won't be much help but that's your final lifeline.

well first of all that cant be a good thing, since it is in your throat it might not be as viscus, eat something cold or swallow some ice to make it brittle, after this you might be able to cough it out , if nothing happens, you should really seek medical help

Drink something and it should go down, if not get someone to do the heimlich manuever on you where they take a fist and center it under your sternum and thrust upward bringing the object up from the choking victim which is you.

If your gum is not stuck too far in your throat, Maybe a friend can help get it out with tweezers. Otherwise, go to the doctor.

Ummm, keep swallowing and if that does not work, just go to the doctor. It's that easy!
