I've been working at a similar job for 9 months now and have been having the same problem.
You're basically going to gain weight unless you skip lunch or only eat celery (in other words, you're not going to burn as many calories as you take in), so the only real answer is exercise after work. Have you asked about gym membership? A lot of companies will pay for your monthly fees.
Aside from taking up smoking, you could try drinking more fluids. I drink carbonated water (unsweetened) kind of like Perrier -- it tastes bad at first but if you get used to the idea of drinking something carbonated without sugar, you actually learn to love it. It does help stave off the hunger by giving you something to do, and prevents snacking on the job.

Get moving once you get out of work! Take a walk, join a gym, anything that will get your body moving. Also, make smarter choices with food. Cut as many liquid calories out as you can - juices, regular soda, etc. Juice does have vitamins, but it also has a TON of sugar. Try to drink as much water as possible. Chew gum or suck on sugar free candies to prevent you from snaking all day at work.

Never use an elevator, walk to lunch, don't snack at your desk (unless it's healthy!), go walking for 45 min. of your lunch break.
That's what I do at my desk job :)

Exercise during your lunch break, even if its for only 15 mins. Drink water instead of pop or coffee.
