1. reality - I think it is subjective and changeable by our own thoughts, feelings and beliefs.

2. truth - there are 3 sides to every story - yours, mine and the truth - and it is often very hard to drill down to the actual truth, though video footage helps.

3. Jesus - I think Jesus was a great guy and at this stage in my life I can identify with him in a way. I believe that he was the son of God, just as I believe I am the daughter of God (he said we are all children of God) - I think the biggest difference between Jesus and the rest of us is that he really knew it to his core that he was a beloved divine child of the Universe and a lot of the rest of us don't. I think he would be devastated to come back here and see people bickering and causing pain in his name.

4. bible - I honestly think Mac and Jack sat in a shack and wrote the bible to control the masses. I think it has been used as a political tool, very successfully through the Age of Pisces and now that that is over (and the Age of Aquarius begun), I think it will loosen it's hold on humans. I think it has been modified (by leaders and scribes) throughout the last 2 centuries - and while it likely has some good lessons in there I personally think it has done more harm than good.

Peace!

1. Reality is what happens to you whether you believe it will or not.
2. Truth is based on reality.
3. No evidence that he ever actually lived. Lots of people point at a piece written in Flavius Josephus's Antiquities of the Jews and say there is proof, but 1. Josephus was born years after the crucifixation is suppose to have taken place. 2. He was a Jew and remained a Jew throughout his life 3. Scholars strongly suspect the piece on Christ in Antiquities of the Jews was written by someone else.
4. A hotly disputed work of fiction. The books that made up the bible were voted on by committee. As the saying goes, A camel is a horse designed by committee.

I believe that the reality and truth of the matter is that people must be allowed their personal beliefs and disbeliefs concerning Jesus and the Bible. People should be tolerant of the religious practices of others, or of the fact that some people choose not to follow any religion at all.
What causes a great deal of grief in the world is the determination of a group to impose their beliefs and dogmas on other groups. One of the commandments should have said something along the lines of: "Be tolerant. If you can't be tolerant, shut up."

The perception of Jesus today is very different. You will NEVER EVER find the word trinity in the bible. The reality of it is the truth is that he was a man...a very great man at that...but still a man. O and the bible is filled with too many lies like talking donkeys, people being eaten by whales, and fill in the blank games that the church played like son of man and editing and/or deleting books that never quite made it in todays bible.

1. Reality is perception. What do I see as real? Is my life real? Are the people I know real? We base our answers to all of these questions based on our perceptions of ourselves, our belief systems, and the environment in which we grow up.

2. Truth is often mistaken for perception. Something that is true cannot be false in any way. Therefore anything that can change a truth means it was never true to begin, it was just perceived as truth. Fire burns human flesh is a truth. Now, if I treat human skin with something and it doesn't burn when fire is applied, has the truth changed? No, because added something that changed what was burning. You could perceive from a distance not knowing that the skin was treated as fire not burning flesh, but as soon as you try to light your own arm on fire, guess what's going to happen. If it is really "true", then it is absolute. Otherwise, it's merely a perception, and as well all know perception makes truth him who sees it.

3. Jesus is the name of a Jewish carpenter from about 2,000 years ago whom the Christian faith claim is God in human form (and I'm one of those people), and that he died by crucification, rose on the third day, and ascended into Heaven where he prepares a place for those who choose to believe he died for their sins and accept his death as a sacrifice for their own. Jesus is also a fairly common name in some Spanish or other Latin based speaking countries.

4. The bible is the most scrutinized book in the history of printed word. No other book has so many trying to prove it real or fake, justified or not, divinely inspired or written by a group of common religious men (and/or women). We will never know the true origin of the bible unless it turns out to be absolutely true.

Here are my thoughts on all four:

1: Not necessarily what we perceive with our senses, it is hard to prove the existence of anything from a philosophical point of view, and whilst i would call myself a naturalist (bright), i believe that the existence of non algorithmic phenomena (such as semantics and emotions) implies that the brain can not be explained by a purely physical model, implying that there is more to reality than we percieve (although I would consider my viewpoint more theravada buddhist than panentheist).

2. "Three things cannot be long hidden, the sun, the moon, and the truth" - Buddha. I love this quote. My opinion is that true is objective, by its very nature; however understanding of truth is subject as it is a human condition.

3. A great man, but a man. Buddhists would call him a bodhisattva, a being who has dedicated himself to saving all sentient beings. The problem I find with the christian god is that his "vow" essentially is: "Sentient beings are numberless, I vow to save them as long as a) they are human, b) they believe in me", compared to the bodhisattva idea of "sentient beings are numberless, I vow to save them", which is the buddhist vow. This is a much higher ideal in my opinion, and if jesus had any power at all, I believe he would have suscribed to this world vie, in this sense I find biblejesus quite weak.

4. A book, not god inspired, anyone who can read it and come to the conclusion that both a)god exists, and b) is not evil is more tolerant tahn me.

Without getting too deep.
1 The idea that what we perceive is what it appears to be & is
genuine.
2.That which can be verified by irrefutible fact.
3.A man believed by many to be the son of God.
4.A much edited & abridged collection of documents said to be
the word of God
Whatever your "beliefs" are....keep asking
