you already knew the answer to what everyone was seeking? If you knew the one truth; the one thing that brought everyone together (atheists and theists alike); how would you tell them about it so that each person would understand and accept it?

I'd go to Google Answers, and make some cash, instead of wasting my time and wits in this shithole.

Answers are only good for resolving the duality of the human mind; if that were possible. No matter how thin you slice it; for the mind there will always be two sides to every question.

Knowing is a matter of the heart and revelation precedes the "correct" question. Billions of answers are worthless without the right question?

If truth makes one free, which I believe it does, than truth will not bring everyone together. Truth will in fact separate; it separates those who let go from those who cling.

So it remains that the unity of living things is not found in the meeting of minds but in union with the Eternal Spirit; who is the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace.

it's not possible, to get every person to accept and understand this, without a critical mass shift of consciousness.

but, if i did experience a sudden consciousness shift into enlightenment...
i would look to the the great beings that have already done this-
i would transmit the energy to those who were ready to receive.

there is no way to put into words the Truth. one can only BE the Truth. there are beings who have done this, although very rare. the surrounding people will be effected according to the level of consciousness that they have awakened to.

some would experience Divine Union, Presence

and for some

the words will only point towards the Truth.

some would be inspired and understand my words conceptually...

some would listen but not hear the Truth...

some will change my words and use my image for power and control...

some will call me a heratic, an infidel or crazy and try to "crucify" me.

This could be your best question yet. I would have to be able to reach them on many levels. The ego likes words and images, so I would begin there. The conscious mind relies on the physical senses like sight, hearing, smell and touch, and the known world. The body consciousness has its own language, the list goes on. I would need eight days to do it. I would need 24 hours of each day. And I could only shift one person at a time, face to face.

Not possible. There will always be some narrow minded people who have invested their entire life in a concept, which, if relinquished, would render their lives meaningless. Even hard physical proof would be written off as an illusion of the devil or some such nonsense.

I would mind my own business because there's no way I could know for sure that the answer I had was definitely the answer other people wanted because *I* am not omnicient and cannot possibly know that everyone else wants to know what I know.

NOBODY could possibly know that. So stop trying to find a way to excuse proselytizing.

If you know the one truth, and feel compelled to find a way to share it with the world, proceed with caution. My son believes he is satified with knowing it and is not particularly compelled to share it with strangers. He is however devoted to sharing it with people he knows, loves. I am always driven to research it, practice it in every experience it in every moment of life and write it all down in a journal. I feel it is my purpose to share it with anyone who will listen or read. I know God, organized religion concerns me. I trust God to show me they way. I learn what I can from man, but knowledge comes from God. To answer your question, look to God.

Peace :)

People have already been told that one thing, but not everyone wants to accept it.

We don't have the words in our vocabulary. They must see for themselves.
