Absolutely. If the officer is attempting to arrest you (or someone else) and you do anything to prevent him from accomplishing that task you can be arrested for resisting. You can receive jail time for that but it usually depends on your record, if there is one, and the amount of resistance and it's aftermath, i.e. injury etc. Whoever resisted, I would suggest you tell them to comply and then have their day in court. Most of the time you will not win on a resisting unless there are some technicalities.

The Law book is very thick. If you piss off the cop, I'm sure the cop can find something in there to charge you with. You're best bet is to comply with the officer. If you don't feel safe, request the presence of another officer.

Or if you're being flashed down and you don't feel safe, the turn on your hazards and drive to a well lit public area. More people means the cop is less likely to do anything wrong or questionable.

Yes you can. As soon as a police officer puts his/her hands on you and says "Your under arrest", you have no right to pull away from him/her.

That is almost the text book definition of resisting arrest.

you can....resisting arrest and obstruction of justice/governmental operations are pretty flexible charges that can apply to anything. as far as jail time...previous history will be taken into account

Not only are you resisting but the officer has no choice but to assume you are going to be endangering his life and may act accordingly.
