If you have any doubt that you don't want to be in a relationship, then the correct answer is, you shouldn't be in that relationship.
If this guy is looking for an exclusive relationship, and you don't feel like you're ready for that, then you should be open with him about it. Maybe suggest just doing things now and then as friends, and seeing how things go?
If you're scared of relationships because you've been in some bad ones, I would suggest talking to a parent or older family member (aunt, uncle, older sibling). Sometimes just talking about something can help you get past your concerns, and taking advantage of the wisdom that is around you is a smart thing to do.

just try to be secure and make sure you dont hurt anyone. just make sure you find the right person. also there is nothing wrong with flirting, if you have an uber jelous bf of course there is gonna be a problem. as long as you dont backstab you your bf its good, so just date girl, there is nothign wrong with it, just find the right person so you relationship doesent turn into shiet :)
