I'm 14 and I had a so called "boyfriend" when I was in 4th grade also in 5th. Don't listen to the people saying that they are too young I mean I never went anywhere with my boyfriend I usually just saw him in school that's all okay.
Well I remember I got a cute little necklace when I was in 4th grade from my boyfriend. I absoloutly loved it. It wasn't anything too much it was probably like 15-20 dollars. I also have gotten things such as little statues of animals and I think a teddy bear or stuffed animal would be cute. Also maybe like one of those really soft pillow things. I mean not something too big.

I will put it this way, I feel that they aren't too young to be dating. Around here 5th grade is your first year of jr. high. A set of ear rings and a necklace would be a sweet gift. Not to much, just enough.

Not really good practice to teach an 11-year-old that it's appropriate to date. Wait at least 4 or 5 more years. Keep them young when you can. It can be a good friend, but dating at that age is very inappropriate. Who knows what they hear about from their friends? Not good!

i think of youngsters presently are too spoiled and shouldnt be getting any style of digital except they are able to have adequate money it themselves. My step daughters whom are 8 and 6 each and each have their very very own Nintendo DS from their mom, and my husband and that i come across it certainly ridiculous. All they do is take a seat around on the sport and that they are so spoiled and that they are not discovering something from getting each and everything surpassed to them. whilst i replaced right into a newborn i did no longer have that style of stuff. I performed outdoors or on wet days, I outfitted a citadel interior. heavily, young ones are too spoiled presently and get each and everything surpassed to them on a silver platter.

Jewelry is good at any age! Take the kid to one of those girly stores at your local mall, and have him pick out some cute little $5 bracelet or necklace for his "girlfriend."

Appropriate? Nothing. Eleven is too young to be having a girlfriend and giving gifts to her.

Awww...how sweet. Maybe some little girl bubble bath or hand lotion. A DVD copy of shows they watch together (not expensive ones) or candy.
And c'mon people--they're 11. They aren't "dating." Didn't you have a "boyfriend" or "girlfriend" in elementary school?
