Not sure if it will be on record from the 1980's or so, i have only been in the navy 3 years but now there is a document called your "smart transcript" and it shows training all the way back to bootcamp for me and it also shows what training you have done and how the equals to college credit. The navy college office should be able to pull this for you.

Unless you have spoken to a Navy Recruiter already, taken the ASVAB and have the contract to be a HM be prepared not to be one. You are a female, currently the Female side of HM is overmanned so they are allowing only a few each year or not allowing them at all. This includes both medical and dental sides. Because you are female if for some reason you do get HM you will not necessarily be on the Marine side unless in dental or a specific division where you can be stationed at a Hospital on a Marine base. Standardly only males are allowed to go to the FMF as you can be deployed with them. Women are not allowed in combat where Marines go. I do know 2 ladies that do work at Marine bases one in a hospital the other in a dental clinic so you can be stationed there, you just can't be stationed with a Marine Unit itself.

What you are looking for should be on your page 4 (NAVPERS 1070/604). These are microfiched upon separation, so you should have it on your fiche. Do a SF 180 and send it to the National Personnel Records center.
