I think my 5 yr boyfriend has gotten a little too comfortable in our relationship. He burps and it smells like pure rotten stomach acid with a pungent odor. It is so grose you have to leave the room. He does it over and over until I am really ready to vomit. Last evening, he passed gas in the kitchen and it smelled so bad, I cought a wiff of it 10 minutes later when he walked into the living room. It smelled like he pooped stomach acid into his pants. I try to be tactful, but It is so sickening.
It has a terrible sour stomach acid smell with rotten food odor. Tell me what to do please. There is something wrong with him. I keep wondering if he has cancer somewhere on the inside and he is burping and passing out this god awful odor.

OK. I am a RN and he had a colonoscopy 1 week ago, I told his doctor he was doing this for over a year. He down played it and he is the pt so she believes him. He burps and it clears the room. It is pure rotten stomach acid odor. I cannot express how rotten it is. It is sour stomach acid smell.

The next time he does it, say, "Sweetheart, when you burp, the smell is making me sick. Could you please give me warning? Also, I'm concerned that the odor is abnormal and that there may be something wrong. Can we go see a doctor and check to see if you're alright? I really love you and don't want to lose you to a sickness that could have been caught early and taken care of."

sounds like his stomach is not completely emptying out his food . He should go to the doctor and have a bunch of test run oh him before his stomach burst and causes him some very serious problems

I think that this is disgusting as well, and have had the same problem in the past. You just need to tell him that when he does that you feel unfeminine, and if he could please keep that to himself and his boys, you'd feel better. Don't make to big of a deal out of this, he should get it after you ask him once. As for him having a disease that is causing him to smell bad, most sicknessess don't have that as a symptom. After you have a serious sit down talk with him about his yucky habit, tell him to go to the doctor and have himself checked. If that does not work, go to the pharmacy or supermarket and buy a laxative for him. Have him use it. Please tell him that sharing himself with you is great but not there is a limit to it to the sharing. Good luck.

you're probably disgusting to him. a greater question is why became he allowed to go in? Threaten to go out if he does not start up paying his share of the hire, doing one million/3 of the chores, etc.

Ask him to go to the doctor to get checked out. Just be straight up honest with him. If he really loves you, he won't mind your honesty.

you're just going to have to tell him. if you've been together for 5 years there is nothing that you shouldn't be able to tell or ask him. be nice about it, but firm enough that he knows it bothers you and need to stop.
