1. Is he someone that you could bring home?
2. He must be no more than 2 years older than you if you are 15 or under. The bar increases a little from there.
3. Have him introduce himself to your parents. Be open about it and don't hide anything. If he's a good guy there won't be a problem.
4. The more they know about him the better things will be.

Can you say grounded? Actually depends on your parents. If they said before"No, you can't have a boyfriend", can you say "Grounded and I can't see you no more?" to your man? But I wouldn't prefer you to do because this isn't a safe plan, you gotta be extra sneaky to do this. Ask your parents if you can have a boy or not. If they say no. Brake up with him, but tell him why, don't say: Look boy, I need to to brake up with you! Bye!

Don't say that. If they say yes, tell them like in a week that you have a boy. Because if you tell them right then and there, you'll probably end up grounded. And make sure none of your friends tell your parents. Actually, I wouldn't even tell them if I was you..

tell them you you have a boyfriend. I mean telling them you have a boyfriend is better than telling them you are pregnant. LOL

I always talk to my mom first about my boyfriends, or the guy that i might possibly start going out with. I just start talking about the things he likes, who his family is, his name, etc. Just to give information out to my mom. And then my mom just talks to my dad. Your family might be different though.
