I really love cake and I really love pie. When it comes to choosing the better one of the two, ill have to choose pie. I love apple pie its my favorite. I also enjoy cherry and blueberry pie.

Mmmmm. I like both. However, if it's between a random pie and a random cake, I'll choose pie. Pie seems to be harder to screw up. I've had some awful cakes in my time.
But made from scratch, by a good baker? I think cake. Mmmmm so many kinds... Pound cake, mousse cake, ice cream cake, angel food cake, fruit cake, chocolate cake, layered cake, cream filled cake, pavlova, upside down cakes...
Actually, I think a great fruit flan is the best. Kind of a cross between a cookie, a cake and a pie. Especially good when the flan shell is lined with chocolate.

That is really a hard one to choose between, but I think pie this time of year especially. I like Cake on my birthday. I love Lemon Meringue and Banana cream and apple is always good. mmmm now I've made myself hungry!!!

Now this is just me but I prefer pie and ice cream. But chocolate cake is great too! You can’t go wrong with either. For Christmas I would go with pie for sure.
