how can i make my aunt and uncle see that recycling is good for the environment?

they think recycling is a huge joke, also they think that global warming is a hoax.

i did see "an inconvenient truth" actually. thought it was very good, but scary

show them a bag of garbage. pull out the paper, the compost material cans and what not that can be reused. then show them the differences. as all the garbage would go into the land fill this stuff wont
