After having an opportunity to read your question, I don't think you are confused at all. You've come up with a set of ideas that you've come to believe are the motivating force behind the existence of our universe. The only thing that I see that is fundamentally different is the idea that some god figure is living in an entirely different realm and now that this intelligent force has created the universe, it no longer has any vested interest in it. Further, in your own words...
"it did not know that humans would come to be and therefore did not give us morals to live by. we have no soul and there is no afterlife."
So what you are saying is, this intelligent being simply put the building blocks of life into motion then walked away without any understanding or interest in what kind or type of life would result.
I believe this perception is cold and doesn't reflect the intent behind the creation anymore than a painter not being interested in how his piece of art would be received. On the contrary, I've come to understand that unlike the fairy-tales presented in texts like the bible, this force is with us in the form of a living connection. The fact that we are alive, have consciousness and are able to create, indicates that there is some kind of connecting thread which enables us to co-create with this intelligence.
I agree that no specific set of moral codes were handed down given that this world is a duality of reality. We have light and dark, left and right, male and female - each providing a certain energy to the mix. None of it is good or bad. It simply is. But no soul? This I cannot agree with due to the fact that we have consciousness. Consciousness in and of itself indicates the arcane idea of a soul. It cannot be measured scientifically yet it is the thing that reacts to the stimulus given to the brain. We can see the brain in operation with CAT and PET scans but we are unable to see or measure what it is that reacts and acts on this information. Enter Quantum Physics!
"now would you say this is atheism, agnosticism, or intelligent design?"
I would say, given that you are still learning, still searching (you wouldn't be here posing these ideas if you didn't want further information or some kind of affirmation) that you are agnostic in your thinking. You really don't know and would like input from various sources. That makes you an agnostic.
Now. Does this intelligent force live in some other realm where our physical laws don't apply? I think not. The fact that you live and breathe and hopefully consciously create your day - this would indicate that "whatever it is" must be around in some fashion. Life is reality. Given that fact, who is the observer?

I read your comments and I was not confused.
First, you believe in the existence of a god. Therefore, you are not atheistic. Agnostic would mean you do not know if a god exists, but as previously stated you do, so then you would be considered a theist.
Second, you only mention this devine being in the singular, so I assume you hold teh position that there is only one and not many divine beings. If this is true, you are a monotheist, if not, you are a polytheist. If you hold that the divine is everything and all things all at once, then you would be a pantheist.
You hold the position that the Divine wound up the world and let it run as per the natural laws it established, but had no further input. This would mean that you hold the position that the Divine is impersonal and not interested or engaged in the world as it goes. Therefore, you would hold to a variant of Intelligent Design that some Christians hold to, but not most.
That is about as far as I can go, given the information provided. As you give more details, perhaps I can narrow it down for you.

First of all to answer your original question. You sound close to a few people who are Universal Unitarians. But you have some original twist that make it real interesting. Now for this question. I have no trouble understanding your point and even how you would come to many of your conclusions.
I agree with you and it seems many people will formulate an unbendable belief on less then 5 minutes of spiritual thought that may very well be weighed against eternity. I understand you and I am what is commonly called a Conservative Bible thumping Jesus Freak. So I would guess from prior Yahoo R&S experience that many people didn't read past the bold print. Sorry Bro!

Well you can't be an atheist. I believe in nothing. Sounds more like agnostic theism to me. However, if there's no evidence for a god and no one knows for sure how the universe burst forth or what from, how can that lead you to assume some unknown god had a hand in it? I don't get it.

Your belief would be classified as agnostic.
But what is your belief based on?? I read your previous question, why do you make those assumptions about the universe and God?

Why do you feel the need to classify your beliefs or find a particular religion that fits? You do not need to follow a religion to be a spiritual person!

I don't think you're confused at all. In fact, your theory makes as much sense as most physicists and much more than creationists.
I agree with you. Those who say you are confused are confused themselves.

I won't say you are confused. But I would wonder - what do you base your conclusions on?
