what's a better gift to give to a friend (who is a girl) cash or gift card? basically I'm trying to show that I'm not a free loader, because occasionally she drives me home from work.

a gift card, of couurse, giving money is not a good idea, i'm puting my self in this situation, and i'm imagining you giving me cash money, i won't accept it!it's kind of inethical, especilay froma guy to a girl...
even if it's an ordinary thing for you, i would prefer the gift card, girls love that
you are good guy ;-)

Gift card. Cause giving cash just seems...weird....But gift cards always work well.

cash is like paying her for the lift wereas a gift card would be more like a gesture to say thanks. so go with a gift card for her fave store.
