So God sends Moses to Egypt on the most important mission - to free the Jews. Mission so important that later God himself will be reminding about it in every freaking paragraph of the Bible. And what does he do next? He tries... to kill Moses for no apparent reason. WTF??? Some will say that was because his son was not circumcised, but wouldn't a sane god, if it was so important to him just say something like "and yeah, by the way, i noticed that your son is not circumcised yet, you should do it before you go".
So, insane? Randomly homicidal? Or what?

Also the funny question is - why did he fail to kill him fast? One would expect the Creator of the Universe would have no problem instantly destroying a good part of the galaxy, but this god seems to be embarrassingly weak...

No God is not insane. Moses disobeyed the will of God and was punished for it. We all have a chance to be foregiven of his sins but that does not mean that we will not be punished in some way for what we did. We don't just get to say we are sorry and all if forgiven. Whatever we do against God there is a price to be paid. Sort of like your question. You will be judge for it.

it truly is too undesirable you're taking those previous testomony thoughts actually. they don't look written as historic truth, nor inteded to be examine that way. they're allegory, and an attempt to describe the a number of mysteries of human lifestyles and lifestyles by technique of historic human beings. And keep in ideas there are 2 completely diverse creation thoughts in Genesis. Which one is traditionally precise? Which one precise or incorrect? Neither.

Moses’ outstanding sin made him unfit to serve as a spiritual leader, and the situation had to be rectified before he could carry out his mission effectively. Indeed, as soon as Zipporah performed the act, the Lord “let him go.” In summary, God was going to kill Moses because Moses was supposed to teach the Israelites God's Law - yet Moses was not obeying God's Law himself.

Moses was disobedient, AND God gave him a chance to repent before he punished him, the same chance we all get.

where do you mean about god trying to kill moses? I don't remember that part of the story....

Moses was unable to enter the promised land, because he struck the stone because he got impatient and God said only to point at it, or something like that.

remember that Death is not the end, or of consequence for God, its part of Life.

and God doesn't have problems like you seem to think.

It was because Moses wasn't circumsized, and not to be too gross, but some people think that Moses' wife saved him by biting off the foreskin. God may have not been trying to kill him, just remind him about the circumsision.
