the pope is evil

Any organisation that covers up pedophillia activities are definitely evil. Many of the churches were doing this cover in the 80's and 90's up by removing priests and posting them in remote areas with unsuspecting community . That is why many people from catholic and Uniting church denominations have left the church.

I dont think that these organisations deliberately set out to do an evil act they simply did not know what to do but the fact remains that no matter if they did not intend to do harm it does not discount that they did.

Many Catholics communities were conditioned not to believe the victim and I remember aconverstaion with a catholic friend who said they were getting a new priest to the parish and it was rumoured he had liked little boys but that the priest was a good bloke and this person was a nice person but had been conditioned by the parish to not believe victims.

In fact through out the churches there is a view not to believe victims. Unfortunately I am not sure that the church understands the terrible breaking of trust when a priest does this.

Nobody could say that the massive disappointment by victims families because of perpertrated sexual abuse is a good thing - no not at all.

The organisation itself would not be evil. Individual people make individual decisions and we all make mistakes. If this article is true then only a handful of people are involved. Sexual abuse of any kind is a terribly harmful and even destructive thing-especially when children are involved. We don't know the whole story or even if the document is a forgery or not. If this document is genuine then no doubt the press and courts will deal with it and we will hear the results. The story should not be used to condemn the Church as a whole, the majority being made up of good people with good intentions. We shouldn't look to judge others either. Instead we should try and improve ourselves and help others. God is the final judge. If we don't show mercy to people then will he be merciful with us?

The world is finally coming to terms with pedophilia....It's out of the closet along with incest the other dirty little sin.

Just like all the other "secrets in society" it out in the open now....and thank goodness there's no going back.

Sorry....I don't view suggested sites.

My English brother. I am English like your self and you are brainwashed by the lies propogated in our society. Our country is continually broadcasting filth, pornography and violence. It is tolerant yet goes way over the top in its political correctness.

And you know nothing of the Catholic Church other then your brain washed hate told to you by what ever theorists or pastors you have come accross. The Catholic church has existed for over 2000 years English brother and will continue to exist because it is the church of Christ.

God bless I hope Jesus enlightens you.

try praying asking Jesus to show you the truth every night.

Jehovah's Witnesses DO NOT cover up pedophilia. In fact the person is punished and disfellowshiped (or kicked out of the organization)!

If you are referring to the Catholic Church, they did not tell us to cover up. Get your facts straight before you come here and ask silly questions
And stop answering your own questions or you will be reported!

Let's leave the judgments to God.

As far as my opinion, I would simply choose not be a member of such an organization.

They did do that my friend. That is what made it all the more disgusting. All the way up to the Pope it was covered up and denied. Lets just move the offenders around and make sure that it does not get out.

In my opinion, a cover up of that nature is absolutely immoral, inexcusable and intolerable.
