Yes, drugs_are...and innocent Catholics from overseas (and I don't mean Northern Ireland) - Brasil for one.

I believe that every Police force in the world has some form of arms (batons, pepper spray etc).

If you mean guns, then I believe that Britain, Ireland, New Zealand and some Scandinavian forces are the only ones not to routinely carry guns.

Even these have some form of an armed division so by that definition, all Police forces in the world are armed.

Not 100% sure but I know that in New Zealand there has been mass uproar because they have started issuing police officers with taser guns. They've also only just started issuing stab vests too after 2 policemen got stabbed a few days ago. I think it's ludicrous that policemen are expected to patrol our streets unarmed, have you SEEN what they have to deal with???

Mt country (UK) used to be unarmed until Islamic terrorists decided to come out and play. Even now the vast majority of the UK police force is unarmed.

I've really do have no positive idea but i would say at least a dozen countries from what i have read at different times but no definite answer as to date so look on web
