Okey, DONT drop hints. Men don't get hints...period. What does he like to do? My boyfriend (he is propsing to me, we've already gone over this..but lets go with a 'what if') likes to roller skate, and so do it. So I would ask the dj to play 'our' song for a couples skate and do it right there. Don't get on one knee, just whisper it in his ear and place a simple band on his finger. it's uncovnetional, but it can be done! good luck!

I once attended this wedding, and my dad told me that the man proposed by taking his fiance to the observatory floor of the Eiffel Tower. At a certain time the lighting for the floors goes off at night. So the man found out the time somehow and when he was with his fiance he popped the question--just before the lights went out. She accepted, of course. I thought that was a very unique and romantic way to propose. Good luck and Happy Holidays! =0)

CONTRARY to what some thought in the past, a woman SHOULD NOT get on one knee for a man.
She should strongly hint, like over dinner, so by the way, I'm thinking that I am ready to make that step in the next year, what are your views on this?
If he doesn't pick up in 1 year, 3 hints you've dropped, then he isn't your man.
IF you are gay, then anyone can propose flat out - but just stick with it, so if you are gonna be the 'lead' then be the 'lead' all the way through the commitment process (no matter which role you prefer in bed) regardless if you are male or female, just make sure you take the lead until the commitment ceremony is over.
Hope that makes sense.

First of all, I would find out for sure if the man believes in true equality between men and women, or whether he's a chauvenist who believes that women belong in the kitchen and they're the boss.
If it is the former, I would still hint about how they feel about marriage, like "how do you feel about women proposing marriage to males, rather than the other way around?" and prepare to hear his answer. This could be one way you don't directly risk being turned down... as well as also find out about your man's true values and make a decision whether to continue such a relationship or not being able to escape it fast enough.

Men don't get hints at all. It's not part of their DNA. If you want to propose to a man, go for it. But don't get on one knee. Just come out and say what you're going to and let the chips fall.

He will propose when he is ready. U just have to wait, or get a new one if you are tired of waiting.

Make Chicken Cordon Bleu and put the ring inside. When he finds it, ask him if he'll marry you. It needs some work, I know, but it would be fun to plan something like this! :)

this may be sorta hard to organize, but it would be worth it!
if he loves some sport, say football, then take him to a game and act like it is just a normal date. but beforehand, organize with the place so they can announce something like, "Bob Jones, will you marry Sara Smith?". it could work at concerts too! i have seen this before, and it was really cool!

Take him to his favorite resturaunt, and while u wait for the food... say that you have to pick something of the floor, crawl over to his side and get on your knee, and ask him.
