within about 15 min. I need a recipe for supper. We have a guest coming and the store didn't have a chicken. We were gonna make spagetti but we don't have any sauce. Got any fast recipies that picky eaters will like?

Do you have any canned tomatoes? If so, then make your own sauce....brown garlic & onions in olive oil (if no olive oil, regular oil will do), then add tomatoes, a splash of red wine if you have any, italian seasoning and any other ingrediants you might like (suggestions: chopped artichoke hearts, black olives, capers, pine nuts). Cook over low heat to allow flovors to mingle and sauce to get warm. Don't boil as you will lose valuable juices and can burn.
