Your cousin has to LOVE the tattoo now and in twenty years from now, so shouldnt she really be designing it herself. I got my tattoo five years ago after taking with a girlfriend of mine about what I wanted and she drew what I had in my head. I was 14 when I did this, but I was way too young for a tattoo. So I waited and decided that if when I 21 I still loved the tattoo I would go ahead and get it done. In the meantime I looked around for other ideas and designs and even had her draw maybe 20 other designs. I still loved the original that she drew in my school diary. So, when I was 21 I went and got it. When I do see my tattoo I never, never think...."I wish I got something else"... What Im saying is that your cousin should get a tattoo cause she loves it, not cause someone drew a picture that she likes or she saw a picture in a book that she likes. Tattoos are personal, maybe something that is a reflection of her would be an idea...

I actually thought long and hard before I got my tattoo. I wanted it to mean something so I decided on one to represent my children. So, I now have two butterflies with a cocoon in the middle. The cocoon is being "held up" by the sign for Aquarius. So, the two butterflies represent my girls, the cocoon for the baby I lost and the sign for Aquarius is me. So I have my ENTIRE family now represented on my back. I put it there because the skin there does not expand as much as you get older. I would just suggest thinking of things that you or your son likes and try to incorporate it into something to tattoo. Good Luck!!

Get a pic. of him in a heart with some wings like an angel and the round glowing thing above his head. Above the heart wright his name, and under the heart wright " My true angel", or
"The angel that guides true love in my life"

I think Tattoos are great. Especially when they are of children's names. I want to get two angels with my babies names scrolled somewhere around them on both of my shoulders. Or you can try roses with ribbon type drapes with names written in them

Bring you son along with you to the tattoo salon and have him pick the design for you.

I have my son's handprints on the small of my back with his name above them. It's done in all black. The handprints are from his handprint and footprint card the hospital gave me.

don't get a tattoo. it seems cute and affectionate and loving now but when you're forty and he's grown, he'll be embarassed and you'll look crazy.

i.e. jeffrey on project runway= crazed maniac with his insane neck tattoo

Take a great picture of him to a professional tattoist and have him duplicate his face on your right bicep or over your heart.

I wish you were my dad!
