Brits do not drink typically their beer "warm". It's typically served cellar temperature, which is warmer than refrigerator temp, but cooler than room temp or 'warm'. To me "warm" means 75 degrees or hotter.

I drink all my beer at this temperature. I keep it in the fridge but them let it sit for at least 15-30 minutes before drinking it.

My personal favourites are Spaten Oktoberfest, Spaten Optimator, any Chimay, Paulaner, or the Trader Joe's Winterfest, vienna, or wheat beer.

They drink some beer at room temperature in England which is not necessarily warm. I have had cold beer in England as well. Chilling a beer can disguise the lack of taste or a bad taste in beer. Also, contrary to other answers, there are good beers made in the US...Sam Adams, Anchor Steam, Red Hook..etc...
If you are going to drink a warm beer or just not real cold, pick a quality beer that you already like.

All the beer I had in England was relatively cold except for Real Ale which was the temperature of the cellar it was pumped up from which was rather cold usually.
I despise warm beer or warm wine, neither should be over room temperature.
