Jesus Christ used the example of Noah to reveal attitudes that would predominate near the end:

"But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be" (Matthew 24:37-39).

This is history and prophecy working together. Their meaning is clear: The attitude of people in Noah's day would prevail again just before Christ's second coming. To both groups God seemed far away, virtually unconcerned about human activities on earth, and life appeared to go on as it always had (2 Peter 3:3-6). These people would be unconcerned as to their true spiritual condition and blind to God's impending judgment.
God and the biblical warning signs until all havoc breaks loose. Like the people in Noah's time who laughed and mocked.

You said it, my sister. Just take a look at all of the sarcastic "Questions" on this site, and you will see the manifestation of God's word; that we will be mocked in the end times, before the second coming of Christ.

It seems that Christians have lately become the "target du jour", and have taken the place of many groups in the past as one of the only groups that it's Politically Correct to bash relentlessly.

God bless you and your fearless teaching of God's word in an ever-hostile world.

The Second Coming is not for a LONGGGGGGGGG time. The rapture will happen first then a war and tribulation and then Jesus will come to earth, and all his saints with him.

WOW, Sunday school has really gotten into you, huh?

I suggest you read other than religious stuff, diversity might someday open your eyes a bit more, so you can see the light.

How can you have this blind faith in a book that, in addition to being thousands of years old, has just SO MANY DIFFERENT VERSIONS?

Relax, baby, the end of the world is nowhere near.

That'd be cool, I can swim pretty well. The one thing I want to know is since Noah lived like 900 years, does everybody who gets on his boat get to live 900 years too?

In the literal sense, no, of course not.

In the meaning put there, no - no more than any other generation or century has. Not much has actually changed in how people behave from that supposed time til now.

Remember, the Greeks had the same complaint about their youths' behavior that we have about ours.
