I had a Baja Fresh burrito for lunch today, and I have been insanely thirsty all day ever since. The same thing happens whenever I eat pizza (especially from Pizza Hut). My guess is that the food has a lot of MSG in it.

MSG is a sodium salt of glutamic acid, one of the most common amino acids (protein building blocks) found in nature. As glutamate, it is present in virtually all foods.
So yes, it will make you thirsty!

MSG acts like salt to enhance flavor and like salt is a sodium as in mono sodium glutamate
