ANyone have the recipe for potatoe candy (peanut butter) w.o. potatoes?

PINWHEEL CANDY (Peanut Butter)

1 stick softened butter
2/3 box powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring

Mix together, if too thin add extra sugar, if too thick add few drops milk.
Form into ball and roll out thin. Spread with peanut butter and roll up forming log. Refrigerate until ready to serve and then slice.

I knew a lady who made potato, powdered sugar candy back in the 1950s. She would add different flavors to it and then put it around nuts, marachino cherries, etc. and then dip it in chocolate. Have done this myself. Its very yummy.
