It is true that you aren't burning off the calories while you sleep, and it's easier to store those calories as fat, but don't be afraid to eat a midnight snack every now and again. Nutrition experts say to try to stop eating by 8pm.

It is much more difficult for you to work those unused calories off while you are inactive/sleeping. Also, the body pumps in a number of hormones in during the Dawn Era Period before daylight and most diabetics have trouble with blood sugar highs at that time. Have a great holiday!
