Beauty can be a blessing and a curse, But does the blessing out wieght the curse? It's must be diffulcut knowing that people are always trying to get close to you, or in your circle with the agenda of trying to get under the sheets with you constantly male and female. Manipulating and using your family friends just for a chance of getting close to you. That has to get old at a certain point people always looking at you telling you how good looking you are admiring your face even when you don't feel good and want to turn it off but can't.

well, it can be a blessing and a curse...I know that there are many people that are intimidated by beauty..threatened, and jealous to a dangerous degree of lying on the person to make others think less of the person...couple the beauty with talent and you've really got a problem...It is not a problem to have people be kind enough to you to compliment you and mean it...they are merely showing their admiration to you and to them, it is the first time...it is up to the person however, to get it straight that they are a 'regular' person, and not walk around with their heads in the clouds and noses in the air...to cause people to react that way.

I get that a few times a week. I just force myself to find it flattering, and don't give it any other thought. Those close to me are clearly intuitive enough to know what someone's motives are. If they are good friends, they are not going to reveal any information about me to others without my permission. Therefore, no problem. The effect of being a little uncomfortable when people are coming on to me, well, there are worse problems to have I guess.

Amen! I never get tired of hearing compliments but I know it is kinda disheartening to know that the only reason some people want to be involved with you is to get you naked. I guess there's not much to be done about it unless you want to wear a fake wedding ring to ward off potential admirers, but then again that really doesn't frighten off many. It's not easy being beautiful but I'm glad to put up with the struggle instead of be one of those less fortunate. (Not to sound conceited, that's just the way it is.)
