only brush your hair when it's wet. before you brush your hair while still wet use a relaxing balm and anti frizz stuff, then brush your hair. it'll dry quite nice. but don't brush it when it's dry because it'll get puffy.

Dry, coarse and brittle hair needs to be nourished from within; a conditioner that just rinses out won't do the job. Use an intensive moisturising shampoo which will cleanse without excessive rubbing (which will damage the hair more) and follow with a hot oil conditioner. Heat opens up the hair cuticles allowing the moisturiser to penetrate the hair shaft giving it suppleness, bounce and movement. Mousse on dry hair will make it look dull, use a blow drying or thickening lotion instead.

After I get out of the shower, when I my hair is still wet, I rub in leave-in conditioner into my hair, then brush and it's soft after instead of puffy and dry. Or atleast, less so.

Oh, once you're at Sally's, pick up some 99cent hot oil treatments. Use them sparingly and when you do, you're hair will feel luxurious!

Before brushing you're hair, take a B-A-T-H with conditioner. Then keep brushing. Afew days later it won'tbe really puffy. It won't even look puffy.

i dont like 2 brush my hair very much because it goes static. i am a hair stylist, so i need my hair to look presentable. try using a wide tooth comb from the ends to the roots.

a decent blowdry will help, as will a spot of serum. a good trick if you are having static, is to spray a touch of hairspray into the palm of your hands, then apply onto your hair.

maybe you should try a treatment once a week too?

Wet your hair, or put leave in conditioner in. Use something to keep it back with too. Brushing/ Combing your hair while its wet helps alot! But brush it gentley when it's wet, or it will break off.

You can use a detangler when its still wet to help it stay a little oily and not puff up so much. and blow dry your hair so you dont have to go out and by a straightner but this will dry out your hair some so give yourself bimonthly treatments of a hair mask you can use something as simple as mayonnaise or VO5 hot oil to help keep it moistured

why don't you brush when your hair is damp? that way you get everything straightened out. then air dry it and if you want more texture maybe add a styling gel to keep the tufts of hair together. good luck!
