It just sits on a chair thats against the glass door and continually taps on it with its beak. He does think its another bird. Here in the states there are a number of species that do that, Cardinals are particularly prone to it. He is tapping because he is trying to peck the other bird to chase it away. You might try putting something on the window temporarily, like the sillhouette of a cat or hawk.

Take a piece of black paper and cut out the shape of a hawk and tape it on the window. That should stop them.

Its protecting its territory. They do peck at other birds but usually you wont see it. It is a nutural behavior, the only way to stop it is to stop the bird seeing its reflection;

It sees its reflection and thinks that's yet another fowl, that it will could desire to compete with, and attack! they are not very amazing. in case you are able to by some potential imprecise the fowl from viewing that's very own reflection, the assaults on your residing house windows could desire to end.

Maybe something is attracting them. Do a little research and see what they hate and if you can get that than put that thing there and see if it goes away.
