Ask anyone who is a member of an organized religion if they believe their religion is the right religion and most, if not all of the time, they would say yes. Why would you be a part of a religion unless you believed so? There are thousands of religions, who all teach different things. If there is one God, then why would he approve so many different religions teaching different and conflicting things? Unless he enjoyed confusing us, which I don't think is the case. This would make him petty. If God does love us he would not confuse us, but would provide a means for us to know him and return to him. Whether this be the Mormons or any other religion, you must believe this, or you should keep on looking.
As to the Book of Mormon...I appreciate your opinion, and many people share that opinion. I at one time had my own doubts. Thankfully I God answers prayers and has answered mine.

enable's be straightforward about this. communities like the Mormons do not declare to have the basically non secular truth and that any one else is erroneous. they trust that there is an abundance of knowledge to help their beliefs. and they don't trust that any one else is going to hell or will be destroyed. So your claims are fake. Now there are particular issues that Mormons trust to be authentic because they have seen the data for it. There are different issues that they don't understand the answer and that is totally a chance that some different person of a diverse faith has the answer to that question. what's diverse about them from anybody else? i'd say that someone who believes in some thing and at the same time does not position self belief in it has a psychological condition, does not you? each and each human beings, of even if faith or no faith has some issues they position self belief in, and who imagine that if others position self belief in yet in a unique way they should be incorrect. right here you're loudly proclaiming that Jehovah Witnesses, Mormons, Amish and others who disagree with you at the on the spot are not basically incorrect, yet have a psychological condition. do not you word the way you're not any more beneficial than they? all of us trust what we trust and imagine others who position self belief in yet in a unique way are incorrect. If it were any diverse then we may carry 2 opposite evaluations and trust both to be superb perfect, and we may be somewhat tousled interior the top. So, beforehand you bypass attempting to take the mote out of a persons' eye, seem first to remove the beam out of your man or woman eye.

The future will prove who is right and who is wrong. Right and wrong are not proven by the majority.
Many years ago the majority believed the world was flat and the minority believed the world was round. The minority was right.
As to so much of the Book of Mormon being "obviously" not true, what is obvious to someone is not obvious to others. Just because you think the Book of Mormon is obviously not true does not make your statement true. it is just your opinion. Time will tell if it is true or not.

We don't believe we are "right" and everyone else is "wrong". We believe all uplifting and Christ-following religions have good, just not the complete gospel. We believe the fulness of the gospel was restored to the earth through the Prophet Joseph Smith...other religions have pieces of the gospel, but not all of it - such as the Priesthood, temple ordinances, modern revelation...
And what in the Book of Mormon is "obviously" not true? And to whom? You? Have you read it - prayerfully??? If not, I challenge you to.

For the same reason that Muslims believe they are right and everyone else is wrong.
For the same reason that Atheists believe they are right and everyone else is wrong.
For the same reason that Fundamentalist Christians believe they are right and everyone else is wrong.
