My new guyfried is a Irish Cathoilc and I'm a Domincan Catholic. my grandma dislikes him because he's irsh I I tell her that hes a good catholic will she like him?

Yikes! In my personal experience, grandmas are pretty set in their ways. She may never really warm up to him. But the fact that you two are the same religion should be a big step towards her not "hating" him.
