I mean, it's 2006, not 1211. Hasn't this god guy ever heard of democracy? I would much rather go to the Democratic Republic of Heaven, or some other place that doesn't revolve around 1 guy's word. Perhaps hell is a democracy?

Its 2006? hmmm... yeah 2006 out of eternity, doesn't seem like a big deal now does it?! So in the lousy 50 years of life on earth you've surmised that Heaven isn't really for you, so you'd rather go to Hell for all the after life? Well, when you get there I hope your not one of those people that live with regret. Have fun and send me a post card !

Actually, you won't go to Heaven. Since the Earth will be here forever. The first chapter of Genesis 1:28: "And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth."

Also, the Bible says the Earth is to be "filled" with Perfect, Peaceful men, (Ps. 72:7) "In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace so long as the moon endureth."

Matthew 6:10 "Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven."

Also, the Bible says the Earth will never be destroyed or depopulated, (Ecclesiatstes 1:4) "One generation passeth away, and another generation cometh; but the earth abideth for ever."

If you believe in the Kingdom of Heaven and do not wish to go there relax there is another place. But, do not think it is a democracy or even a demonocracy.

AK is wrong. Earth will pass away. Some of the passages quoted were in regard to the 2nd Earth when Christ comes for his 1000 year reign.

2 Peter 3:10
But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare.

John 14
Jesus Comforts His Disciples
1"Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God[a]; trust also in me. 2In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. 3And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.

Revelation 7
9After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. 10And they cried out in a loud voice:
"Salvation belongs to our God,
who sits on the throne,
and to the Lamb." 11All the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures. They fell down on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, 12saying:
"Amen!
Praise and glory
and wisdom and thanks and honor
and power and strength
be to our God for ever and ever.
Amen!"
13Then one of the elders asked me, "These in white robes—who are they, and where did they come from?"

14I answered, "Sir, you know."

And he said, "These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15Therefore,
"they are before the throne of God
and serve him day and night in his temple;
and he who sits on the throne will spread his tent over them.
16Never again will they hunger;
never again will they thirst.
The sun will not beat upon them,
nor any scorching heat.
17For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd;
he will lead them to springs of living water.
And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes."

I am not sure what heaven will be like, but I trust Jesus and the Father. I doubt the praise will be exactly like it is described, but even if it is we will have seen God face to face and all will be made known to us and it will be a joy to worship him. Not a duty

perhaps.

think about this. if heaven is a place where there is no sin or sadness, then we do not have free will. thus we are forced to praise him for eternity, with that in mind, how would u feel about praising the guy for all eternity who condemned your family and loved ones to hell for eternity (to be tortured or tormented), and u were forced to be happy about it???
