how can u tell if a guy really means it when he says i loves u?

love means trust the person u love
respect the person u love
try to make the person u love happy
try to help that person if he/she need u
that is the meaning of love

It's when he looks you straight in the eye, says it without a moment's pause, and then smiles at you, a smile that he doesn't usually give anybody else. An 'I love you' that a guy says is really special, while girls *no offense* can say 'I love you' to almost anyone..

That is not something that men usually say lightly, as it usually implies things like commitment, exclusivity, and so forth.....
Men usually "feel" love a long (long) time before they ever say such a thing.
Of course, there are exceptions if the guy is a master manipulator, and is looking to get something in return.......(Oh, golly gee, whatever could that be...????)
There are some truly evil, manipulative men in the world, but most of us aren't that bright....

look into his eyes. If you can honestly feel warmth and sincere then he means it. If he can hold you and look at you without your makeup and say that you are the beautifullest girl ever then he means it. If he sees you crying and makes you smile and laugh then maybe jsut maybe he is the one.

Well, it's in his actions. Not just the ones surrounding the moment in which he says I love you, but his demeanor and actions towards you all the time.

you can't. aparently, someones a little insecure. just kick him and the balls an demand that he tell you the truth. being aa member of the male gender, im pretty sure that this should work.

well you know it if he look at your eyes when he says it, if he says it not to scape from a "do u love me?" question, and of course if his acts corresponds to his words
