my boy friend has broke up with me 6 times & he says the reason why is that he needs to clear his head. Why does he do this?

6 times? I'd say with all that, he's not worth the trouble and confusion that he's causing you. Maybe him "clearing his head" is a good time for you to think it over yourself.

well considering he came back it may actually mean he does need to clear his head. he may be having trouble with decifering what he wants in your relationship and in life if you two have been together for a while. my boy friend does the same kind of **** to me. it may on the other hand mean he wants to go and screw around with other girls and be able to come back when he gets board. some guys really are good and he might just be having trouble with commitment. try to tell him how you feel about your relationship and how much it hurts you that he does this to you. ask what he is having doubts about in your relationship you may be able to help his insecurities.

Because relationships are incredibly distracting. There's so much more to life than renting eachother for awhile. It occurs to him every so often that it's not really making him happy.

Because he has no idea what he wants...Maybe next time, you should break up with him...That will certainly get him thinking you're not just going to put up with him dumping you, then getting back with you...

it could be a number of reasons, but in my experience it usuallyl means that he may have another girl on his mind and he's trying to figure out who he wants.

Because he wants to see other people. And, if it doesn't work out, he knows that you are stupid enough to take him back every time.
