i asked the same question one time. just never let the guy get between you guys, friends are more important then boyfriends. you might drop a guy after a few weeks but you can have a friend forever. the guy will pick and if it ends up being you dont rub it in your friends face and if you arent it then obviosly the guy cant see how nice you probably you are. dont get mad at your friend. it isnt her fault but hopefully she wont be all bratty to you. i am not sure what else to say but....... this is a link that goes to the question i asked: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AlBU4Fih.qx_s3OlzQaFCqXsy6IX?qid=20060713160642AAQ995D

good luck and remember, friends are more important then boyfriends

Forget about the guy if he likes you both. What an asshole. Move on hun, theres so much more better guys in the world. Dont let that guy take you away from your best friend. Haven't you heard of bestfriendsforever? haha And you'll find guys that would probably treat you better. ;]

What is most important, your best friend or that guy? Unless you and your girlfriend are players your relationship won't hold when it comes to guys. Boyfriends (or in my case, girlfriends) come and go, even for me at this age, but a true friend is one to hold on to. If he likes you both, how many other of your friends will he like if you two become involved?

If he liked the both of you, I dont know. I personally wouldn't go for him. He could cheat on you. But it depends on the guy. Whatever you do, Make sure you dont let the guy mess up you and your friend's relationship, you will regret that seriously later. The choice is all yours gurli.

both of you should swear him off right now!!!!!!! the worst thing you can do is let a guy come inbetween a friendship. it is totally not worth it in no way, form, or fashion. you should make a pact to never date him, either of you and leave it alone.

If I were you, I would discuss it with you friend and bow out with the condition that if it doesn't work out, then you're going to go with him later.

This isn't a leftover, this is a exploration for compatibility. If they work out, then you know it wasn't for you.
