You should be able to use iPhoto or one of the other i-programs on your iPod to do it. Open up your iMenues and check that. I know that with iTunes all you have to do is import the CD directly into the iTunes program and it will load that content right onto your iPod.

Technically, it's a federal crime to bypass the encryption included on your DVDs. The US Congress passed the Digital Millennium Copyright Act in 1998 to prevent you from doing exactly what you've asked.

If that seems dumb to you, you might want to check out the Electronic Frontier Foundation (eff.org). They are a non-profit organization that fights for your digital rights. At the very least their website can tell you more about the DMCA.

Well you cant legally.

I had a program called DVD ripper, it was nice hand in hand with another one called MPEG converter, I forgot the name be before it, but that one you have to pay for unless you just get a crack.

So rip your DVD, then convert it into iPod format(MPEG4), through the converter, and there you go. Remember to erase the DVD's you burn though, whole DVD's take up anywhere from 6-10 gigs on your PC.
