This one is fun to make and always goes over very well since it's so attractive. It's called fruit pizza.
FRUIT PIZZA
1 package of slice and bake sugar cookies
8 oz. cream cheese (at room temperature)
4 oz. Cool Whip
Assorted fruit of your choice - strawberry halves, canned peach slices, grapes, banana slices, etc.
1/2 cup sugar
1 T. cornstarch
1/2 cup orange juice
2 T. lemon juice
1/4 cup water
Slice cookies and place into a circle shape on a cookie sheet, making sure you have them overlapping a tiny bit so they look like one giant cookie. Bake according to package instructions. Remove from oven and cool to room temperature. This will be your pizza crust.
Mix cream cheese and Cool Whip with mixer until smooth. Spread this as your sauce on the giant cookie.
Mix remaining ingredients in a sauce pan and boil for one minute. Remove from heat and chill in refrigerator.
While glaze is chilling decorate your pizza with fruit. You can use strawberries, canned peaches, banana slices, or whatever you like to make it colorful and attractive. It's fun to make designs with the fruit.
Once all the fruit is in place brush or spoon with the chilled glaze. This will make it more attractive and keep the fruit from discoloring.
Cut into pizza slices as it is served.

Take the rice krispie recipe and double it.Substitute the rice krispies for corn flakes. When the marshmallows have melted, put 4 drops of green food coloring in the marshmallow cream, now mix in your corn flakes----stir good.Shape that mix into a wreath on a plate (covered with foil.)Take red-hots and add to wreath like holly berries, and then put a red bow on top.Now you have a Christmas wreath that everyone will love.Cut into slices just before you eat.Makes a wonderful centerpiece on table.

They are so good! They melt in your mouth. You can put red and green food coloring in them too if you want to be more festive. I leave them in the oven a bit longer and then also in the off oven for about 2 hours.
