You might use a bedpan. They don't diaper people like you.

You mean fluid? He has a shunt. I also have one and usually for a revision it is a 2-3 day stay. You go in, have the surgery, then the next day they do a ct scan to make sure it looks fine, then the next day you go home. Has he not had any before? If so he is lucky. I have had about 10 of these and I am 24.

A twelve year old with bunions?? Give me a break. Find something better to do. P.S. Bunion surgery doesn't require overnight stay by the way.

you will have a call button next to your bed and if you have to go to the bathroom . just press it and a nurse will come and help you, you will not get a diaper. and if you can't get up to go to the bathroom the nurse will bring in a bedpan . don't worry everything will be fine.

They will probably have a real cute nurse change your diaper, lol. No, seriously, they put you in a wheelchair and scoot you to the bathroom and you go on your own, you just lift up and over and BAM! you are on the toilet seat, no problems, no worries!

Options would be a catheter, a bedpan or you'd call the nurse and she'd help you to the bathroom.
