ok, im talking to this guy for quite a while now. we've met before, hung out and i really like him. well, it's christmas time and i will be going to visit miami and of course i will see him. i dont know what to get him. since we're really talking and like each other for a few months only, im looking for something not too personal but something that would say "i like u." any ideas?

i think getting him a gift in the first place may hint "i like you". what if instead of buying him a gift, you took him out to dinner, his choice? that way, you are almost guaranteed that he will like it :)

Do you know him well enough to know what kind of book he might like? Does he like to travel? A travel book? A book of photographs? Or you could get him a fun gift such as the classic game of Monopoly. Does he like wine? Buy him a good bottle of wine -- that's always a nice gift. Since we don't know the guy but you do, you will have to think about what he would like and be creative in buying him a gift.

Safe gift, Miami, Christmas... How about sunglasses? There are some nice ones that won't look too "gifty." Have a look online.
