I recycle EVERYTHING and don't use products with PFC's. What are things you do? What other things could I do to help out as much as I can?

I try to conserve energy, and I wash my clothes with cold water only. I don't litter, and will pick up what I see. I avoid styrophome when I can.

I help promote solar power. Solar is a renewable source of energy that can go a long way toward weaning us away from fossil fuels. What has held solar power back has been the high cost of the solar panels. But recently I found a company that will rent all the panels a homeowner needs for a rate that is less than what the utility charges. This will make solar easily available to a huge number of households. If you want more info on this, email me at bullshoalsblues@yahoo.com

Donate or give away things that I don't use anymore.
If we are dining at fast food restaurant, Nature's Table, etc. ....I tell them not to put a lid on my drink soup, salad.
We have a compost pile and put food debris (apple cores, watermelon rine, etc. ) in it. Then I use the compost when we replant the flower beds.
