If somebody "goes out" with somebody for a day and barely even speaks to them is that counted as your boyfriend? Because I have friends that say they only went out with somebody for a day and consider them their boyfriend. I just don't under stand it.

No. I'd personally call it a bad time, especially if the lady I went with didn't at least make polite conversation back. No again because "going out" one time doesn't automatically make the two of you romantically inclined or even require anything else.

If you like him a lot and he likes you back then he's almost been considered as a boyfriend.But really once you guys kiss then you are almost fully boyfriend and girlfriend
