I am being tested for adult ADD, they said it will take three hours. I am wondering what sorts of things they will ask me to do.

This feels like a joke, no offense.

I mean, can't you just see all the joke answers you could get?

Here's one for laughs, no offense meant.

They give you a test with a million questions that have nothing to do with ADD. They monitor your activity and they determine based on your attention span.

Serously, I can only guess, they'll probably ask you about past experiences and thigns like that.

There are a lot of different types of tests for ADHD. I ahd to see a counslear for 2 months, all we really did was talk, and go over a survey I took. She also had me do this computer test, which made me want to punch the screen. The computer test was pretty much push this button when the light comes on in the box, don't push this button when the light is not in the box. After five minutes of that I went nuts. Other than that it was a bunch of talking, a survey or two, but mostly talking about things.

There is a reason classes are not 3 hours long, and if they are, have breaks in between... Because they know that the MAJORITY of people would not be able to sit that long without their attention wandering off someplace else.

The test is 3 hours long so you can stop paying attention and they can tell you "You have ADD", and make lots of money from the medicine they tell you that you need for being normal.

For me It was a computer test. Letters went on the screen and I had to click when Q's would show up or something like that. It was really dumb. Nowdays they tell everyone that they have ADD or ADHD it's really dumb.
