Animals do not have souls--they are souls, just as we are:
Revelation 16:3--"And the second poured out his bowl into the sea; and it became blood as of a dead man; and every living soul died, even the things that were in the sea."
Leviticus 22:11--" But if a priest buy any soul, the purchase of his money, he shall eat of it; and such as are born in his house, they shall eat of his bread."
People and animals are souls and souls are not immortal--they die. (Ezekial 18:20)

I don't think animals have a soul but I do believe that there will be animals in heaven. There was a study done to see if science could prove the existence of a soul they put a person on a scale that measures weight down to the exact gram before he died and when he passed the body weight was a few grams lighter. They did the same with the animal the weight stayed the same.

They ARE souls.
A living soul is a breathing life form. Human or Animal or Fish or Bird
The creator made them all as such :
20 And God went on to say: “Let the waters swarm forth a swarm of living souls and let flying creatures fly over the earth upon the face of the expanse of the heavens.” 21 And God proceeded to create the great sea monsters and every living soul that moves about, which the waters swarmed forth according to their kinds, and every winged flying creature according to its kind. And God got to see that [it was] good. 22 With that God blessed them, saying: “Be fruitful and become many and fill the waters in the sea basins, and let the flying creatures become many in the earth.” 23 And there came to be evening and there came to be morning, a fifth day. 24 And God went on to say: “Let the earth put forth living souls according to their kinds, domestic animal and moving animal and wild beast of the earth according to its kind.” And it came to be so. 25 And God proceeded to make the wild beast of the earth according to its kind and the domestic animal according to its kind and every moving animal of the ground according to its kind. And God got to see that [it was] good.

Their life force is kept going by breathing. no more beathing the life force expires. Like a flame... it just goes out.
7 And Jehovah God proceeded to form the man out of dust from the ground and to blow into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man came to be a living soul.

All living creatures (plants and animals) are part of a universal spirit. Like the Force in Star Wars.

No. They think that animals are here for only the benefit of humans,
and that Humans are made in GOD's image.
therefore, humans are the only mammal that gets tossed around
in the soul game.

Plants have bodies....
animals have bodies and souls ...
(the soul is the conscious will of a living thing)
and humans have body soul and spirit .
(the spirit is the thing that is conscious of a higher power...it is the thing that asks, "How did I get here? Why am I here? and... Where am I going".)

Humans are animals.
If we have souls, other animals have souls too.

There are no examples in the Bible of an animal having a soul nor having the ability to be "saved". Humans are unique in that aspect.

Yes.
Animals are luminous beings, as are people. Anyone who has taken the time to really get to know a mammalian pet can tell you that they are far more than simple stimulus/response creatures.
