I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

Eep. 'Fast' is hard. But if you think like... if I started 6 months ago, I would be down 20 pounds (or whatever), then fast isn't AS important.

I'll give you a few of the tips I use. I went from 164.5 in October to 141.5 today.

And sometimes you wake up each day and you're down a pound or a half pound. Sometimes it's fast. And you see the difference right away.

Switch from margarine to 0 cal butter spray.

Switch from sugar to Splenda.

Switch from oil to 0 cal cooking spray.

Eat veggies for breakfast and lunch. Stir-fry them with cranberries, onions, garlic... steam them... whatever you want.

Research portions. A portion of chicken is SURPRISINGLY small. I had to buy a food scale.

Avoid ANY take-out or fast food. Anything with cheese or cooked in oil, or anything with condiments that you didn't see the calorie info on.

Take a multi-vitamin AND drink plenty of water.

You should see results FAST.

Basically take the weight you want to be and add a 0 to the end of that. That's your starting point. Like of you want to be 150, consume 1500 calories.

I'm not an expert on anything. Just a girl that just lost a bunch of weight.

Have you tried a cleanse? I've been trying exercise only for about 4 months and I only dropped 7 lbs. But with cleaning and exercising I lost 22 lbs in a month. I tried a 9 day cleanse. I'm going to do it again next month. My doctor recommended it to me for my weight loss. With a good cleanse you can lose up to 10 lbs in 9 days. And it's not just water weight. Just cleanse, eat healthy and exercise at least 1 hour 3 times a week. Even if it's just walking around the mall or the track. I'm now on month 2 and I've lost a total of 35lbs and 73 inches. The fastway can be quite good, as long as you are getting a nice influx of carbs from natural raw sources. But be prepared to make permanent dietary changes, or you will gain the weight back.

I could recommend a juice fast that you can extend for up to 40 days, but I can only recommend it as a prelude to starting a 100%raw 100% vegan diet, which you intendto stay on for the long term. Also, juice must be fresh from the juicer, bottled/canned is no good, because the carbs in it have turned into bad sugar, and the enzymes are dead. It is good to mix fresh juice with an equal amount of water before drinking it. Full strength can be a little harsh on the taste buds, and you may have to holdyour nose to get stuff like broccoli juice down.

You can go on 100% raw 100%vegan diet for life, and as long as you don't cheat, you will lose weight quickly(if obese), and you can stuff yourself on this diet as long as you stick to foods which are allowed, and you will not get fat. This diet is good for many ills, including many skin problems, such as acne.

You don't need to buya book, video, or anything other than food fro the supermarket to go on this diet. Everything must be raw. No sugar, no sugar substitutes, nothing dehydrated(dried), nothing canned or bottled (fresh only), nothing processed. You can have fruits, vegetables, nuts, etc. You can also have the fresh juice (straight form your own juicer) of raw vegetables and fruit. Drink also at least 8 full cups of water each day.

You should also walk a couple of miles every day, 5 days a week. Jogging and running are hard on the joints of *skinny* people, so if you are overweight, you should definitely avoid running/jogging for exercize. Walking is pretty safe, but if that is out for whatever reason, recumbent exercize bikes are a good alternative. YMCA dues are cheap, they have bikes, treadmills, etc..

Hoodia gordonii is an herbal apetite suppressant. It is harmless but effective (for me anyway), and you can get a month's supply for 20-30 U.S.$. Usually can be found at Walmarts, can always be found at the local healthfood store.

Honestly, the fast way (and there isn't one!) is the wrong way. Crash diets are bad news- losing weight requires a lifestyle change. Try Weight Watchers! I know it's not the answer you are looking for- but it's the right one!
